Alternative development plan for Campus Oriente, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile: a double-degree thesis project developed jointly at PUC Chile and Politecnico di Milano.
The proposal establishes extension and remodelling criteria for a university heritage building, balancing conservation with the spatial demands of contemporary academic life. Parametric design, BIM, and digital fabrication tools (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling) were central to the design process.
The project proposes an Aula Libre at campus scale: a public room that extends the university into the city while holding the heritage fabric intact.
